Wainwright gives Causey Pike's height as 'approx. 2035ft' (Book 6: Causey Pike 6), saying: "There is no official height ...... generally it is quoted as 2000', an approximation, but the 2" OS map show three contour rings at 2025'. The eastern knob appears to have a slight advantage in altitude, a matter of a few feet only." Hence his estimate of 2035'.  However, our latest metric mapping gives the height as 637m, which converts to 2090ft.
